As we know that almost 80-90% of human work is done by mobile. So in such a case, you should have a good mobile phone which helps you to do all your digital work easily. I am reviewing a smartphone that is good for gaming as well as regular use. The iQOO 7 review is here. Hope it will help you to know about the phone through the iQOO 7 reviews.

The iQOO is a sub-brand of Vivo. It is a Chinese brand that debuts in India in 2020 with the aim of providing high-performance gaming features in a phone. But the iQOO 7 5G is not only for gaming, it also comes with many good features. The company gets successful to ship the first 5G phones with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC as well as UFS 3.1 storage in India.

iQOO 7 Design Review

The iQOO is worked as an expert to launch a good-looking design. Its iQOO 3 which is in beautiful Volcano Orange Hue color is one of the nice-looking phones I have seen. iQOO 7 has also a stunning design as well. It has a nice-look finish, sleek design, attractive color, and many more. The Ice Blue color of its very soothing and enhance its look also.

In addition, the back of the phone is covered with AG matte glass, which is silky, smooth, and also resists smudges of fingerprints & stains. They launched quite interesting back as the phone back has the BMW strips, which attract the people to buy it. It does not carry any trigger key on its edge, rather than that key the phone pressure-sensitive sensor. The volume and power button are presented on the side of the phone. At the bottom side of the phone, you can the USB-C port, speaker, and SIM tray. There is a missing 3.5mm audio jack, which is very disappointing.

iQOO 7 Display Review

The iQOO 7 has 6.62 inches full HD (1080✖2400) screen with an AMOLED wireless display. This display has 1300nits brightness with 120Hz refresh rate + 240Hz touch sampling rate. The display of the phone supports HDR10+, also has flat edges along with simple bezels all around. Its curved display gets things to another level. It has enough brightness to the display that helps the screen to visible in direct sunlight also. Its sharp look and good touch response help while playing the game. Overall it has a good display for gaming as well as for regular use.

iQOO 7 Camera Review

The latest iQOO 7 has a triple camera setup at its back and also has a 16-megapixel camera at its front for selfies. The back camera setup is with a 14-megapixel sensor, a 12-degree Ultra Wide-angle sensor with 13-megapixel, and last but not the least 2-megapixel mono camera with the LED flash.

The camera takes clear, sharp, and perfect photos in normal daylight. Its saturation and contrast feature works well including when users use HDR, except in a few cases. The camera performance in dim light is quite impressive as the picture keeps good clarity and sharpness.

Its portrait mode is not good enough to take a sharp photo. A portrait mode image looks artificial unless you adjust its setting. The ultra-wide-angle lens works good but it may not work perfectly as it misses some details while its use. These lenses are double like the macro cameras.

In a portrait lens, you will get a 2× optical zoom feature. If you click through that particular feature the photo comes in good quality.

The front camera is very impressive as you take selfies from it, you will get vibrant colored and detailed pictures. The selfie doesn’t look artificial at all.

iQOO 7 Battery Review

The phone comes with the 4400mAh battery power offering 5.5 hours screen on time, which is quite insufficient for that phone. Instead of that, the phone is able to run about a full day with the regular use of photography, social media, and gaming. If we talk especially for gaming, you can play for around 3 hours easily and the phone’s battery still remains.

The 66W charger comes with the phone. The charger works super fast as it feeds the battery in about 30-35 minutes, which is a great thing. That’s why you don’t have to worry about the charging of the battery.

iQOO 7 Performance Review

The iQOO 7 is the latest smartphone featuring Qualcomm’s snapdragon 870 processor, With 12 GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB UFS 3.1 storage. The phone has faster LPDDR4X RAM, that’s why it will not show any sign of slowing down during its running time. You can easily install applications in a short period too. You can store a lot of applications in its RAM.

For gaming purposes, the iQOO 7 is worth buying. Mostly snapdragon 870 processor mobile will increase the graphical setting in games. It provides a great experience to game lovers with its MEMC game frame interpolation technology. You can use the higher refresh rate display to minimize the shred of the screen. It happens when the screen is not in synchronization with the game’s frame rates.

The iQOO 7 supports almost all types of games such as Call of Duty, Asphalt 9 Legend, etc.

iQOO 7 Software & connectivity Review

If we talk about the Software, The iQOO 7 comes with Vivo’s Funtouch OS on top of Android 11. The custom skin has come developed outstandingly and its latest renewal looks like stock android. That means, the iQOO 7 comes refined, and the V-store of the company will chop your notification tray with the unuseful application recommendations too. However, I would suggest you uninstall all the preinstalled apps and forced stop all that software bundle which not be removed from the phone. I would also like to mark that the custom skin brings a limited set of features but I just wish for more customization features with the phone. The sum-up of all is that the software of iQOO 7 is riddle then ever but still there are a lot thing that the company should consider.

Talking about its connectivity, there is no issue with the connectivity of iQOO 7. The phone offers good download speed on any 4G speed network. That phone is totally capable to connect with the 5G wi-fi network as well as it has good Bluetooth connectivity also.

Pros:

  • Have AMOLED Display with the feature of 120Hz refresh rate.
  • 48 megapixels triple-rare camera.
  • Superfast charging as 66W flash charge.
  • Superfast 5G & Bluetooth connectivity.
  • 12GB RAM + 256GB ROM (internal storage) + extra RAM.
  • A good liquid cooling system as it has a 6000 sq. mm graphite layer.

Cons:

  • Not dust & water-resistant
  • Do not have a wireless charging feature.
  • A little bit heavy with 196gm weight.
  • Lack of memory expansion provision.
  • Lack of headphone jack.
  • The software could be better.

Final Verdict

The selling price of the iQOO 7 mobile phone in India is 31990 Rs. The final verdict of the iQOO 7 review is that if you are a student who is a game lover as well and you want a forerunner smartphone at an affordable price with the feature of gaming, photography, also able to run heavy applications, then you can definitely pick iQOO 7. But at the same time, if you are looking for your regular purposes such as for office work or multi-tasking where you want a responsive and super smooth screen, then I suggest you should go with the other one. If you don’t want to spend more than 30000 rs., then you can definitely go with it (will not be a bad deal). I hope my iQOO 7 review will help you a lot more.
